What is the difference between a coaching call and a student profile strategy session?

A coaching call is immediate help on a 60 minute Zoom call with a college expert. A Student Profile Strategy Session is a Zoom call directly with Alexis when you’re ready to move forward with full private college consulting.

Should I book a coaching call if all I need is for my letter/essay to be edited and reviewed?

If you already have a completed draft, you can submit the essay for editing here.

If I book a Student Profile Strategy Session with Alexis, do I have to commit to working with her for the duration of the application process?

No.

How can I make sure that Alexis is my college counselor?

Book a Student Profile Strategy session and you will learn about all of the options available to work with Alexis.

If I sign up for a package with Alexis, will she be the only person I work with for the whole time? 

Alexis will advise you throughout the entire process and will be meeting with you regularly. However, you may be working with someone on the team to assist with essays from time to time. 

When should I start private college consulting? 

Spring of ninth grade or the beginning of tenth are ideal, but we also start with juniors and seniors in the fall when they start their applications. 

What if I don’t like the college expert I’m working with on my essays during my coaching calls? 

Email us and we’ll make a change! 

What if I need more than one coaching call? 

You can book more than one, but also consider that you might need private college consulting.
